eine von C. Bühler im Rahmen ihrer psychologischen Entwicklungslehre eingeführte Bezeichnung für einen ersten Unterabschnitt der weiblichen Vorpubertät, der von einer positiven Lebenszuwendung geprägt sein soll. Dem zweiten Unterabschnitt ordnete Bühler hingegen v. a. negative Merkmale (verstärkte Lebensabwendung) zu. Ihren Annahmen zufolge äußert sich der Übergang vom späten Kindesalter zum pubertierenden Mädchen zunächst in einer gewissen Lockerheit und Unruhe des Verhaltens, z. B. in häufigem Gekicher und Getuschel sowie in gesteigerter Erregbarkeit und Unsicherheit; dann kommt es zu einem plötzlichen Umschwung, bei dem aus dem zuvor lebensbejahenden, aufgeschlossenen Kind recht unvermittelt ein starken Stimmungsschwankungen unterworfenes, umtriebiges und selten zufrieden wirkendes Mädchen wird.
